Happy New Year Y’all!
Did you read that and think, ‘Is this girl really saying Happy New Year mid Feb?’ Yes honey, I am and I am refusing to feel shame over it… but maybe I should.
If I am being honest though, I have been meaning to sit down and write this to you for the longest times (read weeks) and then time just… flew and I didn’t think I would do it anymore.
Until this past Saturday. I was sitting next to an old friend at a baby shower when she went, ‘So what happened to the blog?’
This blog.
Then earlier this afternoon, someone told me his father, who’s in his fifties by the way, is more consistent with his YouTube channel than I am with my (personal) writing. I felt ‘called out’
I have been positively shamed into writing this post, which coincidentally, goes with my theme for the year.
Do you have a word for the year? I usually do. But this year it’s a little different; I have a phrase; ‘Let’s gooooo’ and the phrase is now a theme I guess?
I am saying yes to things that call me out.
I am saying yes to tings that take me out of my comfort zone.
I am saying yes to things that scare me but are capable of growing me.
I am saying yes to coming back to this space fully and whole.
I am saying yes.
When was the last time you said yes to something different?
